概要
AI Manga Translatorは、生の1話を「同じ漫画のあなたの言語版」に変える漫画翻訳ツールです。吹き出し単位ではなくページ全体を文脈ごと読むのでキャラクターの口調が一貫し、翻訳したセリフを各吹き出しに収め直し、元の文字はインペインティングで消して下の絵を無傷のまま残します。日本の漫画、韓国のマンファ、中国のマンホワに対応し、言語は20以上。ブラウザでも、MangaDexやPixivなど30以上のサイト上でそのまま翻訳できるChrome拡張機能でも使えます。

作った理由
漫画の機械翻訳といえば、絵の上にのっぺり貼られた文字、順番どおりに読めないコマ、縦書きの日本語に匙を投げるGoogle Lens。私は公式版のない話を、スキャンレーション団体の数週間を待たずに——そして絵を台無しにせずに——読みたかったのです。だから手間は、うまくいけば誰も気づかない部分に注いでいます。ページを正しい順序で読むこと、文字を吹き出しの中に収め直すこと、白い箱を貼る代わりに背景を描き直すこと。
